If you require emergency dental care, we can offer advice over the phone and will schedule you an appointment as soon as we can, often on the same day. We aim to ensure your dental care is accessible, affordable and that all treatment is provided in an efficient and comfortable manner. Whatever dental care you need, contact our caring staff as no problem is too big or too small.

Emergencies

We make every effort to see patients in pain or discomfort as soon as possible, providing diagnoses and emergency treatment to help you feel more comfortable. If further restorative treatment is required this will be carried out during subsequent visits.

When to Seek Immediate Emergency Dental Care?

If you have dental pain or discomfort that is accompanied by facial swelling, a fever or a general sense of feeling unwell then please contact us without delay. A severe dental infection requires immediate treatment as otherwise it could affect your general health. A fractured tooth needs emergency dental care because this can expose the tooth pulp, leaving it open to infection and it may also feel very sensitive or painful. With emergency dental care we can restore the tooth. You should also come and see us straightaway if you knock out a tooth. Sometimes it is possible to reinsert it, but this procedure is generally more successful is performed within an hour of the accident. If a child knocks out a primary tooth then please don’t try to reinsert it as this could damage the adult tooth underneath. Instead, bring them into see us as soon as you can so we can more fully assess their mouth.

Health Funds

We accept all major health funds, if you are unsure of who we accept ask our knowledgeable dental staff. For your regular Check up, clean and X-rays within the one appointment there is no out of pocket expense when you present your health fund.

Veterans Affairs

All veterans and their eligible dependants are warmly welcomed and we are honoured to provide services under Veterans Affairs.

HICAPS

Our payment terminal provides instant, on-the-spot claims, so patients only need to pay the gap or difference between the treatment cost and the benefits covered by the insurance.

Medicare Child Dental Benefit Schedule

The Child Dental Benefits schedule provides $1000 of essential dental care services for eligible children who are registered with Medicare and aged between two and 17 years old, over a two-year calendar period. This scheme covers preventative dental care treatments including check-ups and cleans, x-rays, fissure sealants and fluoride treatments as well as basic dental care services such as fillings, root canal treatment and tooth extractions. It does not cover orthodontic treatment or cosmetic dentistry or any dental work that must be carried out in a hospital environment.
