Stop And Observe
It’s our human nature to rush ahead, sometimes out of fear or overwhelm. We can miss what is right in front of us. It is a good idea to every once in a while to pause and just stop. Perhaps even sit with the situation for a moment and quieten your thoughts. Observe the situation from an observer’s perspective, then once you have settled and feel more grounded, make your decision from there.
Relax Into Sleep
We all love doing this, and perhaps it’s just our human nature. Before bed, we reflect on the day, on our lives or on our situations that are not working. We may even wonder what we could have done or said differently.

Don’t Be So Hard On Yourself
We are our own worst enemy at times. We expect a lot from ourselves, and we can be very critical if we don’t live up to our own expectations. Step back, understand that there are times that we won’t get it all right and have only learnt how to deal with situations through various trials and errors. Being critical of what you did not know just adds more criticism and judgment, which creates a downward spiral, we ourselves create. Be kinder to yourself.
